Cookie policy
We explain which cookies the Dovanų krautuvė website uses, what they are needed for and how you can manage your choices.

Essential cookies are always active. Google Analytics cookies are enabled only when you click “I agree” in the cookie bar. If you choose “Essential only”, analytics is not loaded. We do not use advertising tracking cookies. If you choose English, a language cookie and Google Translate are also used (see section 4).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that the website saves on your device. They help keep the contents of the enquiry basket, the login state and security settings, and ensure that the website works properly. Other local storage or session technologies may be used for a similar purpose.
2. Cookie categories
- Essential cookies are needed for the website’s core functions, security, the enquiry basket and the account session. Without them, parts of the website would not work, so we do not ask for separate consent for them.
- Functional cookies remember additional choices and actions, such as the website language or your wishlist (see sections 4 and 5).
- Statistics cookies (Google Analytics) help us understand how the website is used. They are enabled only with your consent.
- Marketing cookies would help tailor advertising. We do not currently use them; in the future they could be enabled only with prior consent.

* stands for a variable part of the cookie name. The specific set of cookies depends on whether you are logged in, whether you use the enquiry basket and which website functions you choose.
4. Language choice and Google Translate
We serve the main pages of the English version from our own website. The catalogue, categories, product pages and enquiry basket are translated into English by Google Translate.
Google Translate is loaded only if you choose English and open one of these pages. Your browser then connects to Google’s servers, and Google receives the text of the page being displayed and technical data such as your IP address and browser information. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy, and it may also be processed outside the European Economic Area.
Google Translate is not loaded in the Lithuanian version. When you switch the website to Lithuanian, the googtrans cookie is removed.

5. Analytics and other cookies
If you click “I agree”, the Google Analytics service is loaded. It helps us understand how visitors use the website: which pages they open, how long they stay, which device and browser they use and which region they come from. This data is processed by Google and may also be processed outside the European Economic Area. The legal basis is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

6. How to manage cookies
In your browser settings you can view, block or delete cookies. If essential cookies are disabled, the enquiry basket, login, search or other core functions may not work.
In the cookie bar you can choose “I agree” or “Essential only”. You can change your choice at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the website footer. If you choose “Essential only”, analytics cookies are removed and Google Analytics is no longer loaded.
7. Third-party content and policy updates
If a third-party video, map, social media content or another external service were embedded on a page, it could set its own cookies. Where consent is required, we would load such content only after your choice.
